The Healing House is a Tlingit-led healing institution in Kake, Alaska. The building is renovation-ready, community-supported, and aligned with a national movement for Indigenous Just Transition.

Phase A — Utilities & Safety
Power, plumbing, insulation, generator.

Phase B — Interior & Kitchen
Bedrooms, kitchen, gathering space, workshop.

Phase C — Cultural & Outdoor Elements
Cedar/wood design, shoreline learning space, sauna/sweat.

Phase D — Staffing & Operations
Local hire, elder stipends, training, re-entry pathways.
